www.theqhotel.com - voted best hotel in KC, but a little farther from the venue

www.marriott.com - very nice hotel on the plaza

Any hotel on the plaza would be convenient.  FYI: don't go east of the venue for a hotel.

No blocks of rooms have been reserved as we are quite indecisive.  Sorry.

UPDATE!!

We decided on a location!  We fell in love with The Villa and plan to put down a deposit in the days to come.  I cannot express how excited I am to get this process underway.  Not to mention this place and coordinators are fantastic!  It is reasonably priced, beautiful and an experienced planner is assigned to help with all details.  

I am elated.

Why Halloween 2009 for our wedding?  

It started when our favorite venue only had two available Saturdays in the fall, October 24th and 31st.  Then Steve mentioned his Grandparents were married on Halloween and were married for 61+ years.  It was also his Grandmother's birthday.  So we discussed it and even though we aren't going to be married at that venue, we are going to be married on Halloween 2009.  

I am very excited about the possibilities in the future for anniversary parties!  We want to create a fun and memorable event for everyone.
